Providing Merchant Accounts, ACH, Swipe Terminals, Internet Payment Gateways

In a macro view, NELiX® TransaX is in the business of cashless payment processing. We provide merchants with the means to sell their products or services without receiving cash from the consumer at the time of the sale.

What are NELiX® TransaX products?

There are two primary components to a cashless sale. One is a processing account that allows merchants to accept a certain form of payment. The second is a physical device or software system that communications the transaction into the banking system.

  • Merchant Accounts – Provides the ability for merchants to accept Visa and MasterCard as a form of payment. American Express and Discover Card processing accounts also fall under this category. Debit and PIN based Debit transactions also fall into this category.

  • ACH Accounts – stands for Automated Clearing House. This allows merchant to perform a direct debit from a checking account. The consumer provides the merchant with an account number and a routing number instead of a credit or debit card.

  • Swipe Terminals – A piece of hardware where a merchant physically swipes a credit or debit card through a card reader. The terminal reads information from the magnetic stripe on the back of the card and sends the transaction into the banking system. If the merchant already owns a terminal or point of sale system, we can reprogram their existing equipment and they will not need new equipment.
    Point of Sale Terminals

  • Payment Gateways – A piece of software that can be used instead of a Swipe Terminal. They are typically used by merchants where the card itself is not present at the time of the sale. For instance an Internet store like Amazon.com uses a payment gateway to send transactions into the banking system.
